KIRBY H. JACKSON, JR., MBA, CPA

began his career in the audit department of an international CPA firm. Subsequently, Mr. Jackson was a member of a large local CPA firm and an officer of an independent oil and gas company. He has been a partner and director of Smith, Jackson, Boyer and Bovard, PLLC since its inception.

Mr. Jackson specializes in all aspects of tax preparation, tax planning and financial advisory services relating to individuals, including Fiduciary tax returns, Closely Held Corporations, Family Limited Partnerships, and Estates and Gifts. His experience also includes a broad range of activities dealing with oil and gas exploration and production. Mr. Jackson has represented investors, operators, landowners, pipeline and gathering entities, and oil and gas brokers. His experience also encompasses the filing of division orders, assignments, operating agreements and state reports. In personal financial planning services, Mr. Jackson advises clients in the areas of cash management and budgeting, educational planning, retirement planning, investment planning, estate planning and risk management. Mr. Jackson is an Investment Advisor Representative with The Fleetwood Group, LLC, a Texas-licensed Registered Investment Advisor, with whom he is also a partner and director. He also holds Group I and Viatical Insurance licenses with the State of Texas.

Mr. Jackson is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BBA in accounting and an MBA in Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and is a member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of CPAs, where he serves on the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, and as Chairman of the Golf Tournament, a networking event sponsored by the Chapter. In further service to his profession and community, Mr. Jackson is a member of the Achievers Practice Management Group and participates in the Dallas Morning News Tax Hotline.
