ROBERT W. DANIELL, CPA

is Director of audit Practice at Smith, Jackson, Boyer & Bovard, PLLC. He began his career with KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick & Mitchell) where he served for nine years in the audit and business advisory services divisions of the firm. Mr. Daniell has also held senior management positions in industry with public and privately held companies as Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Daniell’s professional experience in public accounting includes audit engagements in the real estate, energy, manufacturing, media and printing industries. He has worked with companies ranging in size from large, multi-national corporations to small, closely held companies. As a business advisor, Mr. Daniell has assisted numerous clientele with the acquisition and divestiture of business including the management of the due diligence, business valuation and integration process. In addition, he has prepared action plans for the workout of troubled business and has provided assistance to several debtors during their bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Daniell’s professional experience in industry includes performing the job junctions of Controller and Chief Financial Officer. He has been involved in public registration offerings, private placements of debt equity, leveraged buyouts, asset-based lending, bank examinations, re-engineering of the finance and accounting operations and computer conversions.

Mr. Daniell is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he received a BBA in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
